While learning the Google UX Design Professional Certificate, I combined the learning experience with my interests in museums and exhibitions. Identify potential problems and pain points from before arriving at the venues to after visiting the exhibits.

Empathize & Define

Problems

1. Customers couldn't buy products directly on our social media platform.

2. Customers have a hard time browsing our products and services.

After meeting with the pastry chef and brand manager and also gathering feedback from our customers, we conclude there are two major problems.

Firstly, before having our website, the brand primary used social media to reach its customers and sell its products and services. In Taiwan, the major social media platforms don't support selling products on site.

Secondly, because we have a large number and variety of products and services, we need a menu that's well organized and easy to browse through. So far social media doesn't match our need for this function.

User Stories

As a regular customer, I want to be able to purchase items directly, so that I don't have to text the owners every time.

As a new customer, I want to browse the products and services easily, so that I can save time shopping.

Goal Statement

Our website will let users browse and purchase our products and services easily which will affect our customer's impression of us as a brand by saving them time and energy.

Solutions

1. Clear and well organized IA, Menu and categories for fast viewing.

2. Search function in the website for instantly reaching the items you want.

3. Preview shopping cart for easy modify your purchase.
